Group Health Cooperative
Founded in 1947, Group Health is a consumer-governed, nonprofit health care system that coordinates care and coverage. Based in Seattle, Group Health and Group Health Options, Inc., serve more than 545,000 members in Washington and Idaho, including 95,000 people who live along the Eastside’s I-405 corridor. Group Health’s commercial and Medicare plans have received the top rating of “Excellent” from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA)

Group Health encompasses medical and specialty centers, a nationally recognized research center, and a charitable foundation. Group Health and Group Health Permanente (its multispecialty medical group practice) combined employ more than 9,000 staff, and is one of Washington’s largest private employers.

No stranger to the Northwest, Ellerbe Becket designed Qwest Field (home of the NFL Seattle Seahawks), and the Rose Garden (home to the NBA Portland Trailblazers), McCarthey Athletic Center (Gonzaga University’s new basketball arena), and the Spokane Arena.

Northwest Architectural Company is the fifth largest architectural firm in Washington state with more than 120 professionals led by 16 principals.

In addition to Highline Medical Center and the Rockwood Clinic, its health care clients have included Northwest Hospital, Whidbey General Hospital, Valley Hospital ’ Medical Center in Spokane, Deaconess Medical Center in Spokane, and Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d’Alene. NAC was also the architect for the Spokane Downtown Public Library.
