The trend toward medically-based health and fitness centers is the subject of a series of forums featuring experts with first-hand experience from across the country. “A Healthy Return: Profit Potential in Medically-Based Fitness Centers” shares success stories of healthcare providers and teaches participants how these organizations have enjoyed the profitability of health and fitness centers as part of their continuum of care.
The next forum is scheduled for Dec. 6-7 in Scottsdale, Ariz., with additional forums in the planning stages for 2002.
“ Medical fitness centers are delivering up to a 15% annual profit,” said Darrell McKay, a forum faculty member. McKay is director of integrated wellness services for Ellerbe Becket, a global leader in health care design and construction.
