Elias Joins Ellerbe Becket’s Growing Dallas Office as Medical Planner

DALLAS, Texas – Sabina Elias, RID, Assoc. AIA, has joined Ellerbe Becket’s Dallas office as a Medical Planner. She will assist internal teams and external customers in understanding short- and long-term facility and planning needs. Additional responsibilities include researching and developing state-of-the-art programming/planning processes.

“Sabina brings valuable planning experience and an exceptional skill set that will further enhance our rapidly expanding healthcare business,” said Dallas Managing Principal Stephen Bailey, AIA, NCARB, RIBA (International).

Elias comes to Ellerbe Becket from a Dallas-based architectural firm where she was a healthcare planner and interior designer. She brings a combined 12 years of industry experience in planning, interior design, interior architecture, healthcare architecture design, and project management. Five of those years included working internationally as an interior architecture designer and consultant. She focused on functional space planning and conceptual design for the renovation and new construction of a wide range of commercial facilities.

“Her breadth and depth of healthcare industry knowledge is a major asset for our customers and our firm,” said Bailey. “Her successes include healthcare facilities of all sizes as well as managing and producing multiple projects for institutional healthcare facilities. She can fit well into virtually any of our clients’ projects.”

Elias, who earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design degree from The University of Texas at Austin as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Delhi, India, is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Dallas Chapter and the Texas Society of Architects.
