BELLEVUE, Wa. – The Ellerbe Becket-designed Group Health Cooperative Bellevue Medical Center has been named the “Facility of the Month” by Healthcare Construction + Operations News .

The four-story, 190,000 square-foot medical center is the new home to the largest multi-specialty practice in East King County, with 125 physicians representing more than 25 medical specialties. Constructed over four levels of parking, the facility includes multi-assignable clinics, operating rooms, diagnostic imaging, acute care, infusion, orthopedics and other functions required to support the mission of patient-centered care. A new clinical operating system allows for more efficient, effective and comfortable delivery of care. Using “Northwest Elegance” as its basis, the design incorporates significant natural light and regional materials.
