Hagerty To Lead Ellerbe Becket Washington, D.C., Office

WASHINGTON, D.C. Adrian Hagerty, AIA, LEED-AP, has been named Managing Principal of Ellerbe Becket’s Washington, D.C., office. The company is one of the oldest and largest global design firms.

Hagerty has been with Ellerbe Becket for more than 20 years, serving as Principal and Senior Project Manager on some of the firm’s most successful healthcare and government projects.

“Adrian is an exceptional manager with two decades of leading multidisciplinary teams on highly complex projects,” said Ellerbe Becket CEO Rick Lincicome. “His leadership track record is highlighted by many superlative client testimonials.”

His current projects include the new Mercy Medical Center in downtown Baltimore; West Georgia Medical Center Redevelopment in LaGrange, GA: and the Baptist Hospital East Eastpoint & Bardstown Road Campus Development in Louisville, KY.

He will apply his considerable experience toward leading an office with a legacy of serving not only healthcare clients, but government and higher education customers as well. The firm’s work in the public sector includes long-term customers such as the Department of Veterans Affairs (since 1946), the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (since 1950) and the General Services Administration (since 1972). Medical design professionals in the D.C. office serve leading healthcare institutions up and down the eastern seaboard and abroad.

Hagerty earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Catholic University of America and a master of Architecture from the University of Virginia. He is a LEED Accredited professional and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
