The Foundation provides scholarships, fellowships and grants to students, faculty and organizations, which promote the public’s awareness of architecture and the built environment.

In his new position, Westby will serve on the Thomas F. Ellerbe Scholarship Committee. The scholarship program was initially funded in 1981 by the Ellerbe firm in honor of Thomas F. Ellerbe, FAIA. The fund provides annual scholarship grants to worthy University of Minnesota architectural and engineering students in their final year.

Westby has been with Ellerbe Becket’s healthcare practice for 35 years, responsible for master planning, healthcare planning and design leadership.
