
Hullinger most recently worked as Director of Construction for Opus in Phoenix and the surrounding southwestern states. From 1983 - 2004 he worked for Ellerbe Becket, rising through the ranks to Senior Project Manager in the firm’s Minneapolis office.
Currently he is managing construction for the new student housing project Ellerbe Becket is designing and building at Park University in Parkville, Mo. Construction of the Copley Quad Residence Halls got underway in the fall of 2007 and completion is expected in August 2008.
As Ellerbe Becket continues to diversity its client offerings, Hullinger will work on projects in the Kansas City Metro Area and throughout the region. He has extensive experience in healthcare, corporate, government, high tech, sports and public assembly facilities.
During his first stint with Ellerbe Becket, he developed numerous long-term relationships with clients throughout the country. He managed construction on multiple projects for Bozeman Deaconess Health Services in Bozeman, Mont. Closer to Kansas City, he held similar roles on a new replacement hospital and medical office building for Newton Medical Center in Newton, Kan.
Hullinger holds a bachelor of science degree in construction engineering from Iowa State University.
