DALLAS, Texas – Stacy E. Marshall has joined Ellerbe Becket as a Business Development Leader in the firm’s Dallas office. He will be responsible for client development and positioning Ellerbe Becket for project work in Texas and the southwest region.
Prior to joining Ellerbe Becket, Marshall was Director of Business Development for Arlington (Texas) based architectural firm Sterling Barnett Little Inc.

“We’re committed to expanding our presence in the region, and having Stacy on our team gives us the best potential for identifying and establishing relationships with new, current and past clients,” says Ellerbe Becket’s Dallas Office Managing Director Stephen Bailey, AIA. Marshall will concentrate his efforts on healthcare and higher education clients and collaborate with firmwide business development leaders and design professionals.

The Dallas office was established in 2004 to provide architectural and engineering services to clients in Texas and the southwest region. One of the country’s oldest and largest design firms, Ellerbe Becket is a leading designer of sports, health sciences, higher education and workplace facilities with several significant buildings in Dallas and the state of Texas.

The firm designed Smith Entrepreneurial Hall and Tucker Engineering & Technology Center on the TCU campus in Fort Worth. Additional Texas higher education projects include the new Gerald J. Ford Stadium at SMU in Dallas and the Jones AT&T Stadium Renovation at Texas Tech University in Lubbock.

Ellerbe Becket also designed the Texas Children’s Cancer Center & Hematology Service at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. And the firm currently is working on the new North Campus Expansion at Houston’s Methodist Hospital.

Ellerbe Becket has nearly 100 years of healthcare expertise. The firm designed the original Mayo Clinic in 1914 and continues to enjoy a close working relationship with Mayo today.

Prior to joining Ellerbe Becket, Marshall worked for the American Institute of Architects Dallas chapter, as well as Dallas Area Rapid Transit. He holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and Broadcast Journalism from the University of Mississippi and later earned a Master of Arts degree in English from the same institution.

An innovator since its founding in 1909, Ellerbe Becket is a leader in architecture, engineering, interiors and the construction industry, with office locations worldwide.< p>
