
As head of one of the world’s most respected design firms, Lincicome also leads Ellerbe Becket’s international practice. He spends much of his time traveling internationally to Ellerbe Becket offices and projects throughout Asia and the Middle East.
As a member of the AIA International Committee Advisory Group, he and his colleagues monitor and facilitate better cooperation and understanding between architects worldwide on subjects such as green building design, new products and technologies and building delivery methods such as design-build.
Lincicome is the 11th person to lead the nearly 100-year-old Ellerbe Becket firm. The company is well known for its expertise in healthcare; sports stadiums and arenas; energy plants and mission critical facilities; higher education; workplace/interiors and corporate/mixed use developments.
Ellerbe Becket is a firm with a deep and amazing legacy, and since becoming CEO in 2001, Lincicome has been steadfast in promoting the firm’s mission of creating great buildings, campuses and environments that enhance client success.
He has been with Ellerbe Becket for 30 years. Prior to becoming CEO, he was the firm’s president from 1998 to 2001. He also has served as the company’s president of architecture and director of the Washington, D.C., and New York offices.
After receiving both Bachelors and Masters degrees from the University of Illinois School of Architecture, Lincicome later taught architecture at the school. He also is a member of the AIA Large Firm Roundtable and the Greater Washington, D.C., Board of Trade.
