Olson comes to Ellerbe Becket from the Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce where as Executive Vice President she led membership recruitment, development and retention. The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal this year named her one of the “25 Women Industry Leaders in the Twin Cities.”
At Ellerbe Becket she will implement sales strategies to win design and construction projects in areas such as healthcare, workplace, energy and technology, higher education and government.

Olson has spent the majority of her career in Chamber of Commerce leadership positions. Prior to moving to Minneapolis, she was President of the Hudson (Wis.) Chamber and also the Rochester (Minn.) Chamber. She also held Membership Director positions with the St. Paul Area Chamber and the Suburban Area Chamber in Roseville (Minn.).
She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in social work from Augsburg College in Minneapolis. She also attended the United States Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organization Management.
Olson is highly involved in her community, having served as Chair of the Community Action Annual Fund Campaign; Chair of the Phipps Center for the Arts Annual Fund Campaign; and Board Member of Junior Achievement.
