Ellerbe’s Ray Greco Speaks At International Courthouse Design Conference

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Ray Greco, AIA, is a featured speaker at this week’s Sixth International Conference on Courthouse Design in Brooklyn, NY.

Greco, a design principal in Ellerbe Becket’s Minneapolis office, will present with Denise Ryerkerk of the GSA Heartland Region on the renovation and integration of accessibility compliance for the U.S. Courthouse in Davenport, Iowa. The presentation is to include pre-renovation background, design directives, design approach and final building transformation.

The Davenport project also will receive a 2007 AIA Academy of Architecture for Justice Citation during the conference. It’s the fourth time Greco’s work has been so honored.

A practicing architect for nearly 30 years, Greco specializes in the design of county, state and federal court facilities. He has successfully completed more than 35 courts projects in 12 states, including new, remodeled and historic renovated facilities. His work has been published nationally and internationally, and recognized with numerous design awards.
