She comes to Ellerbe from professional consulting services firm Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc., where she was an Associate and Director of Human Resources.

Laurent has 15 years of progressive human resource management experience, including recruiting, training, retention, succession planning and performance management. She is based in Ellerbe Becket’s Minneapolis location with responsibility for the firm's seven global offices.

“We’re excited to have Monica join our firm,” said Gregory Anderson, Executive Managing Principal and COO/CFO. “She will be an integral contributor with our other senior firm leaders in planning Ellerbe Becket’s strategic direction.”

She is a graduate of Minnesota State University at Mankato with a double major in international business and business administration. She also studied international business at the Economics University of Vienna, Austria.

Laurent is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). She also is a member of the Executive Human Resources Forum, the Society of Human Resources Management and the Twin Cities Human Resource Association.
