Prior to joining Ellerbe he was founder and owner of Greco Architects in Minneapolis. Previous to founding his practice, Ray was Design Principal and the Courts Sector Leader with The Leonard Parker Associates, Architects.

While with his own firm, Greco collaborated with local and national architectural firms in the programming, planning and design of such courts projects as the Ramsey County Suburban Courthouse in Maplewood, Minn.; the UMKC Law School Advocacy Center Courtroom renovation in Kansas City, Mo.; the Warren E. Burger US Courthouse in St. Paul, Minn; the Margaret Chase Smith Federal Building and US Courthouse in Bangor, Maine; and remodeling of the Minneapolis US Courthouse.
For more than two decades, Greco has educated the architecture profession, the legal community and the general public on courthouse and law school design. He has lectured regionally and nationally at judicial, academic, AIA and design industry conferences.
In 2005 Ray Greco was named a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects in recognition of his design excellence and leadership in courts and law school design. He earned Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Architecture from Iowa State University.
