Architect Stephen Bailey, AIA, Returns to Ellerbe Becket

DALLAS, Texas– Ellerbe Becket is pleased to welcome back Stephen Bailey, AIA, NCARB, RIBA, an accomplished professional with more than 30 years of planning, design and project management experience. From 1997 to 2003 Bailey worked in Ellerbe’s Washington, D.C. location.

“Ellerbe Becket is committed to expanding its operations in the Texas region. Working with the firm’s senior leadership, Travis Leissner, AIA, and John Hollingsworth, Associate AIA, Stephen will play a key role in the Dallas office development,” says CEO Rick Lincicome. “He’ll provide project leadership, management and is responsible for Texas and Southwest regional operations.”

The Dallas office was established in 2004 to provide architectural and engineering services to clients in the Texas five0state region and southern U.S. One of the country-s oldest and largest design firms, Ellerbe Becket is a leading designer of sports, health sciences, wellness and commercial facilities globally with many significant buildings in Dallas and the five-state region. The firm designed the original Mayo Clinic in 1914 and continues to enjoy a close working relationship with Mayo today.

Bailey has spent the last two decades providing design leadership for major U.S. and U.K. clients specializing in complex facility design and implementation.

At Ellerbe Becket he developed and successfully led several important client engagements, including the new Cancer Center for Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, N.C. He directed the activities of project managers, architects, engineers and planners and developed strong business relationships with Ellerbe Becket clients and alliance partners within the design and construction industry.

Bailey is a registered architect in several US states, a member of the American Institute of Architects and certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and an international member of the Royal Institute of British Architects.
