CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Ellerbe Becket representatives met with the Cedar Rapids Facilities Commission July 19 to discuss the prospect of a new downtown arena. The firm will conduct a conceptual study to determine if the downtown site is large enough to accommodate an arena, how it will be situated on the site and how much the arena potentially will cost.
