Ellerbe Becket Healthcare Work Honored

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Two Ellerbe Becket healthcare projects have received prestigious industry awards in recent weeks.

Neuro/Ortho/Spine Patient Care Center The new Neuro/Ortho/Spine Patient Care Center at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis received a “Healthcare Environment Award” in November at the Healthcare Design ’05 meeting in Scottsdale, Ariz. The meeting annually attracts more than 1,500 architects, designers, contractors and vendors for presentations on the latest trends in healthcare.



Gonda Building The International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers has recognized the Mayo Clinic’s Leslie and Susan Gonda Building
with a 2004 BAC Craft Award for “Best Marble Project.” Since 1986, the BAC Craft Awards program has recognized local unions, union craft workers, union contractors and design professionals for excellence in masonry construction and for outstanding union and community service.
