He has more than 15 years of healthcare architecture experience and a wide range of knowledge, from facility planning to construction documentation. He has special expertise in negotiating consultant and regulatory agency agreements, as well as selection and implementation of computer hardware and software applications.

Prior to joining Ellerbe Becket, Moores was with HLM Design in San Francisco.

During his career he has worked with some of the top healthcare organizations in the country. His recent Bay Area experience includes the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center; California Pacific Medical Center; and Kaiser Hospital of San Francisco.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Washington University in St. Louis and a Master of Architecture with a focus on healthcare facilities planning and design from Clemson University in South Carolina. Moores is certified by the Construction Specifications Institute as a construction specifier.
