More Honors for Lambeau Field Redevelopment

April 8th, 2004

The Lambeau Field Redevelopment has been named one of the “Top Projects of 2003“ by Wisconsin Builder and The Daily Reporter. Renovation of the hallowed home of the Green Bay Packers was completed in time for the 2003 NFL season.

The awards ceremony will be held April 21 in Waukesha, Wis.

Ellerbe Becket was the lead designer for the $295 million redevelopment. The firm faced the challenge of preserving a historic NFL stadium while making it economically viable in a modern sports market. The two-phased project expands traditional fan amenities, improves circulation and provides increased concourse widths, restrooms and points of sale. With the new press and suite levels located above the exiting structure, nine additional rows of seating were added to offer more club seating and general seating options.

An innovator since its founding in 1909, Ellerbe Becket is a leader in architecture, engineering and the construction industry with office locations worldwide.
