Target Plaza South, the 1,200,000-square-foot second phase of Target Corporation’s urban headquarters campus in downtown Minneapolis, was honored in November with an AIA Minnesota Honor Award for Architecture at the Chapter’s 69th Annual Convention & Exposition. The jury was impressed with the role the building has played in revitalizing the south end of downtown Minneapolis' Nicollet Mall and the project's thoughtful planning and design. The award will formally be presented at an awards celebration in early December.
