The ribbon cutting earlier this month for the Rockville General Hospital Rehabilitation Center marked the first step in a $22 million redevelopment project at the suburban Hartford, Conn., facility. The project, based on an Ellerbe Becket master plan, includes a new emergency department, central registration and preadmission testing center, cardiac service center, outpatient procedures center and a new clinical laboratory. The multi-phased project will open in stages and is scheduled for final completion in 2007.
