Suite 20/20: Vision of the Future' to Debut in Boston

July 10th, 2003

CINCINNATI, Ohio — Designers at Ellerbe Becket have completed initial plans for the Executive Suite of the Future debuting at the 13th Annual Association of Luxury Suite Directors' (ALSD) conference and tradeshow scheduled for July 8-10. Taking place at Boston's Westin Copley Place Hotel, the centerpiece of ALSD's exhibit floor will be a 600-sf fully built-out, forward-looking executive suite dubbed "Suite 20/20:Vision of the Future." This dramatic look at the future will be complete with viewing and dining areas as well as entertainment, technology, security and food and beverage offerings.

Renowned sports designer Ellerbe Becket has designed a next generation, interactive space for attendees, media and exhibitors to experience first hand. The firm has designed many high profile, award-winning sports venues both nationally and internationally over the past 15 years.

Comments Bill Dorsey, ALSD executive director, "Response to Suite 20/20 to date has been gratifying. And from some of the designs that I've been privileged to see, attendees to the show won't be disappointed. It will truly be a glimpse into the future." Since announcing the debut of Suite 20/20 Dorsey says he's handled dozens of calls from media, teams, suite directors and suppliers.

Adds Ellerbe Becket Senior Interior Designer Carol Napper, "When the wraps come off of Suite 20/20, I think people will be surprised." While hoping to maintain a bit of mystery around the project until its unveiling at the conference, Napper says, "Our objective is to imagine the possibilities in designing variety, customer service and flexibility while keeping suite holders engaged in the experience."
