With a new stadium that meets playing field guidelines set out by the NFL, NCAA, FIFA and MLS, to name a few, fans hope to see Final Four tournaments, a SuperBowl and maybe even a World Cup played here.
Allen speaks with pride about First & Goal’s (FGI) commitment to involving community neighbors in planning and managing the stadium. “This is an example of how public-private partnerships can really work for the benefit of the city, the state, the fans and everybody, I hope,” he said. Artists from around the region and the nation contributed to the project.
The fan experience here is phenomenal. Aside from outdoor plazas suitable for concerts, those arriving catch glimpses into the stadium, and those inside have a fantastic view of the city and mountains. Designers also sought to intensify the game experience itself by bringing people as close to the action as possible.
