In its April 15, 2002 issue, Engineering News-Record (ENR) published its annual ranking of the top 500 U.S. design firms. Ellerbe Becket ranked 75 in the overall list, and 14th in the Top 20 General Building designers list. The firm has climbed steadily in the ranks over the past 15 years, breaking into the top 100 overall in the late 1990s.
