Nearly two years ago Children’s Hospitals and Clinics announced plans to launch a multi-year initiative to expand and modernize their Minneapolis campus. June 24, 2009 marks the grand opening of phase one of the project, a new ambulatory care center; the Children’s Specialty Care Center will offer patients and families a more streamlined approach to outpatient care.
