Founded in 1862 by Swedish immigrants, Gustavus Adolphus College is the oldest Lutheran college in Minnesota. Many of its more than 2,400 full-time students engage in collaborative research with their professors. The liberal arts college is well-known for its annual Nobel Conference and programs in writing, science, music and community service.
