LCRA’s new control center positions the transmission services provider as a major player in the central Texas market. Employees have at their fingertips the latest in telemetry, communications and audiovisual technology. Inside the control room a large-screen projection system can pinpoint the location of a problem in the service grid.

Redundant components and systems are just the basics. A simulation and training room prepares employees for routine and emergency situations. Additionally, the large-screen monitor images can be reproduced in the conference room.
