Private Accounts Office Relocation

When E*TRADE acquired Private Accounts in late 2000, employees moved to a renovated warehouse. Designers needed to ensure acoustic privacy as they incorporated innovative details in the small office:

  • white boards are moveable
  • consultants may use hoteling stations
  • moving along a 90-degree overhead track, a garage door opens up the conference room and reception for events
  • a metal cable tray mounted overhead for accessibility bends through and around architectural and mechanical elements
  • micro-perforated blinds minimize heat gain but are translucent for viewing
