Luther Midelfort Hospital First Floor Addition & Renovation

Ellerbe Becket designed Luther Hospital in 1928 and in recent years the firm has been renovating its original work. The team designed and built the first floor renovation project, which was phased over two years so that the hospital could stay open during construction. Additional departments receiving upgrades were admitting, angiography, endoscopy, the SurgiCenter, cardiac catheterization lab, volunteer services and the pharmacy. The entrance and lobby received a major face-lift and materials management was relocated.
