Lake Superior State University, Crawford Hall

Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan, USA

The largest project in the university’s history, the renovation of Crawford Hall combines biology, forestry, fire science, zoology, chemistry and geology departments with nursing sciences. The addition improves technology and capabilities for the various specialties.

Research laboratories use an overhead system for lighting, exhaust fans and delivery of gases and electricity. There are labs for computer simulations, classrooms wired for distance learning and an auditorium. Facilities such as the planetarium and greenhouse offer unique learning experiences.
