Amtrak Consolidated National Operations Center

Revitalizing the riverfront warehouse consolidated six groups from three cities into a critical facility for 240 employees. Technological improvements include a large-screen projector to display train positions in real-time. On-site parking, access to public transportation, and adjacency to the Christina River, boardwalk and park were key factors in site selection. Amtrak envisioned improvements in work processes, customer and employee satisfaction, and a healthy, enjoyable work environment.
