Chase Field (formerly Bank One Ballpark)

Phoenix, Arizona, USA

Everyone knows about Chase Field's retractable roof. But how many know about the swimming pool in rightfield? The Diamondbacks' World Series victory over the Yankees helped make the stadium one of baseball's most recognizable landmarks. It was the first sports facility n the world with a roof that closes and a natural grass field. Chase Field (formerly Bank One Ballpark) is home to the MLB Arizona Diamondbacks, but it has hosted football, basketball and soccer games as well. Concerts, motor sports, tradeshows, exhibits, band pageants and Ecumenical events also have been held there.
