Southern Methodist University, Ford Stadium/Paul B. Loyd Jr. All-Sports Center

When Southern Methodist University (SMU) decided to bring football back to campus, the athletic department requested more than a simple replacement for varsity football and soccer. The Loyd All-Sports Center is right next to Ford Stadium. Coaches, athletes and trainers have facilities for academics, weight training and sports medicine, as well as updated locker rooms, offices and a hall of fame. Fans get something special, too: From the west side suites and club seats in the horseshoe-shaped stadium, they can see the entire campus.
