To appeal to the aging Baby Boom generation, US Bancorp developed this new concept, changing how retail branches present retirement planning to their customers.
Designed with approachability and hospitality as the top consideration, the Retirement Planning Center features a coffee bar, “life theater” for workshops, walk-up computer stations for custom-made financial reports, and a semi-private “transition room” to facilitate confidential conversations with financial advisors. This interactive space is meant to make the retirement planning staff approachable, easing customers into conversations from which lasting relationships can evolve.
