Dunkin’ Donuts Center

Providence, Rhode Island, USA

Affectionately known as “The Dunk,” Ellerbe Becket renovated this arena it originally designed in the 1970s to attract larger regional and national events. The facelift includes a new entry plaza, seating, concession stands, scoreboard, locker rooms and a pedestrian connection to the adjoining convention center. The renovation already is reaping results as the NCAA has awarded the first and second rounds of the 2010 Men’s Division I Basketball Tournament to the Dunk.
