Sprint Center

Kansas City, Missouri, USA

The Downtown Arena Design Team (DADT), a consortium of the world’s most prolific sports architects, designed the Sprint Center in the heart of Kansas City, Mo. The 18,500-seat arena is a major anchor for the Power & Light Entertainment District and is a striking icon on a transformed downtown landscape. The city and arena partner AEG are working to bring an NBA or NHL franchise to the arena, as well as securing a regular engagement from the popular Big 12 Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments.

The arena’s interior continues the themes of clarity and transparency established in the exterior design.
