Tyson Events Center

Sioux City, Iowa, USA

Gateway Arena, part of the Tyson Events Center, is home to both the minor league hockey Musketeers and the arena football Bandits. The arena features a horseshoe-shaped seating bowl that incorporates an end-court upper deck to provide unique flexibility in resizing capacity with minimal moving parts. Two blackout curtains and seven movable seating sections allow the building capacity to be shifted from a 6,500-seat hockey venue to a 10,000-seat concert venue.

Renovation of the historic Municipal Auditorium is also part of the project, and scheduled to be completed in the Spring of 2004.
