Ellerbe Becket provided full design services for the American Hospital Dubai’s new inpatient bed tower. When complete, this facility will add 242 additional patient beds and a range of new services, spread over a total of seven floors with a 2-level underground car park and covering an area of nearly 540,000 square feet (50,000 square meters).
Situated at the southeast corner of the hospital campus, the bed tower will create a new main entrance court for visitors to the campus.
The new inpatient bed tower is the latest in a series of developments being implemented by the hospital at the Dubai campus to meet the demands of patients in the UAE and wider region for more personalized care, greater comfort and convenience.
