Sanford Health, ER/Trauma Renovation and Addition

Designed to accommodate 45,000 visits per year, the goal of this project was to design a world-class emergency department with reception, waiting and triage functions patterned after a deluxe hotel. Wood, stone and patterned terrazzo were used to create a welcoming hospitality feel, while privacy, security and wayfinding features were designed to improve the department’s function.
