The Notre Dame Stadium renovation is actually a brand new stadium wrapped around the famed old structure. Despite extensive structural, architectural and systems renovations, the stadium remains true to Notre Dame's collegiate Gothic style and scale. The renovation added 20,000 seats, VIP suites, expanded team facilities and press box and added new scoreboards.
