Science Museum of Minnesota

St. Paul, Minnesota, USA

The Science Museum of Minnesota is an education, entertainment and research center offering a collection of more than 1.75 million objects and artifacts. In addition to five exhibit halls, the museum houses research and laboratory facilities for experts in a variety of scientific fields. The connection between research and exhibit space is seamless so that visitors may interact with scientists and observe them in their laboratories.

Educational programs are offered for museum-goers of all ages. The design includes 12 classrooms and a 400-seat auditorium, as well as a 425-seat Omni/Imax large screen theater.

A 16-acre outdoor science park, highlighting the ecology of the Mississippi River Valley, serves as a valuable tool in promoting science outside the bounds of the museum.
