Intermediate knowledge of project design and construction documentation production and construction materials. Proficient in CAD, graphic skills, presentation and communications skills. Basic knowledge in word processing skills required; spreadsheet experience, 3D computer modeling preferred.
Understanding of the programming process, translate client requirements to design criteria in the design process from concepts through installation unitizing creative design approaches. Develop conceptual design, schematic design and design development, and coordinate project design assignments. Prepare design presentations materials and lead verbal presentation to Owner. Conduct internal Ellerbe Becket design review of their projects to internal design panel. Participates in marketing small scale projects. Develop an understanding of the overall projects goals and constraints including client objectives, design criteria, construction and design budget parameters and schedule requirements. Assist with design and technical coordination within and among the disciplines. Conduct site and program analysis. Facilitate program development with project team. Lead and coordinate total project effort on smaller, less complex projects. Prepare planning presentation materials and participate in presentations to clients.
